First off you need to check out the Gnarly Big Air Tour website. I started snowboarding last winter with these guys, and it's been fantastic. Mike Hinshelwood has done an amazing job editting our video footage together -- there are some lower bandwidth versions of the first movie along with some photos here.
We're planning another trip in January 2003, and this time we're off to Fernie in Canada. Being actually half Canadian (I have two passports) this will hopefully be a triumphant return to the motherland!
It's my personal mission to spread the wonder that is Rollerblading to everyone I know. Apart from those with two left feet, of course. The London Skate is absolutely amazing -- several hundred skaters stopping traffic all across central London, accompanied by a stonking bicycle-powered soundtrack. Unfortunately summer is over and the weather isn't being too nice to us, but if there's a dry weekend expect to see lots of people in Hyde Park. The speed slalom folks at the western end of the Serpentine have to be seen to be believed.
For a few years now I've been blessed with Phenomenal Cosmic Powers. Yes, I can juggle! Having decided that three balls isn't as impressive as it could be, I've started on four. This is harder. Frustrating, even. Ahem. What's more fun is attempting to teach anyone who will stand still long enough for me to thrust a set of balls in their general direction...
