13rd January, 2003Have just got back from Vancouver. There wasn't any snow there, but back in Fernie we have some funky powder and we had a great day on the slopes today. Andy and Becks seem to be well sorted in Vancouver, their apartment is amazing and the city is lovely. I've got a bunch of photos to show the crew back home, along with some video shots of the city and their new home. Andy proposed on Christmas Day - they went on a sleigh ride to their own igloo, had a fantastic dinner, and Becks said "yes". Warm fuzzy feelings all round. This photo is of the Rocky Mountains on the plane from Calgary to Vancouver. The sun was setting and the colours were amazing, and I snapped a bunch of photos and some video. Will feature, as ever, in the forthcoming Gnarly Big Air Tour video. |
