We made it to Fernie! Here's some of the gang hanging out in the dark waiting for the bus home. We decided it would be a good idea to have a couple of beers in the bar... somehow we nearly missed the last bus back. MikeH took some groovy night-vision footage with his new Sony handycam - Colin bought the same camera at the airport Dixons. We rode some more today and it's all coming back nicely. We're kind of out of shape though - there are muscles you use when snowboarding that the gym can't really exercise, mostly ankles and knees. Everyone seems to have bought a new board, and we've taken them for a mass waxing session tonight. Internet available at one of the board shops, and we can just bring our laptops down and plug in. Not that cheap but useful nonetheless. Next I have to sort out getting over to Vancouver to see Andy and Becks (who apparently just got engaged - cool!) and seeing if Liz can make it here. Ivy and James arrive tonight so the posse will be complete.
