29th December, 2002Just got back from Amsterdam. Think I'll be asking for the "not next to screaming child" seat on the trip to Calgary. Apparently screaming kids can rival a jet taking off -- kinda designed to get your attention. Right, not much time here, am going to have to pack for the boarding trip. Amsterdam was wicked, stayed with Isabel at her friends' place, generally saw the sights and had fun. Red Light district amusing (mostly watching drunken tourists wandering about), canals very pretty, locals very friendly. Cycling around definitely recommended. |
